DJ Chill X raised in the Union/Essex County area in New Jersey developed a good ear for quality music at an early age of 7 from his older brothers and began honing his DJ skills listening to DJ Red Alert, DJ Cheese, Jam Master Jay and watching and helping older DJ’s at school parties.  Attending college in Connecticut DJ Chill X got his first break interning at 96.5 WYBC in New Haven.  He soon got a regular slot every night 11 - 2 know back then as (DJ Chilly Chill) he made his mark gaining enormous popularity for his mega mixes and crafty blends. 

In the mid 90’s DJ Chill X made his way back to NJ and started his grind promoting hundreds of parties and releasing monthly hip hop, R&B and classic house music mixtapes.   His tapes and cd’s gained a huge following on the streets of NY and NJ gaining recognition at the 2004 Mixtape awards for the “Best House Mixtape”.  To date DJ Chill X is certified street platinum when it comes to the mixtapes and cd’s and has sold more mixtapes independently World Wide than most signed artist.  DJ Chill X House mixtapes have become the market leaders in Classic House mixes around the world.

DJ Chill X has performed at over 500 venues around the world and has worked with celebrity artist such as Redman, Methodman, Lil Jon, Ying Yang Twins, Lil Scrappy, Lil Flip, Memphis Bleek, Papoose, Remy Ma, Pitbull, Jadikiss, Styles P, Trick Daddy, Young Joc, Busta Rhymes, Rah Digga, Doug E Fresh, Eric Sermon, Avant, Akon, Colonel Abrams, Viola, CeCe Rogers, Blue Magic, Heavy Hitters, Big Dog Pit Bulls, BET and many more.
